FINALLY.

Finally. We can all rest easy now because we finally know when we’ll be getting a Jessica Jones trailer — Friday.

Friday is the day we finally get a trailer for Jessica Jones, the next Marvel series out of Netflix.

In the mean time, we’ve got a slick new motion poster to look at to keep us satiated.

The motion poster features Krysten Ritter as the titular character, private investigator Jessica Jones, in an homage to the amazing cover art created by David Mack, with a very light, sort of watercolor feel to it.

We also get a very light look at the other three main characters in the series, Rachael Taylor as Tricia Walker, Carrie-Anne Moss as Jeryn Hogarth and Mike Colter as Luke Cage, who is currently filming his own series to be released sometime next year.

We also get a very small glimpse at David Tennant as Kilgrave sketched out in the background. We’ve yet to see him take on his purple alter ego, the Purple Man, but at least here we can see him colored with purple in the artwork.

Nerds. Just a friendly reminder. We’re getting Jessica Jones as a TV series. Purple Man will be on our televisions. He’s being played by David Tennant.

David. Tennant.

We’re winning.

In Marvel’s Jessica Jones, ever since her short-lived stint as a Super Hero ended in tragedy, Jessica Jones has been rebuilding her personal life and career as a hot-tempered, sardonic, badass private detective in Hell’s Kitchen, New York City. Plagued by self-loathing, and a wicked case of PTSD, Jessica battles demons from within and without, using her extraordinary abilities as an unlikely champion for those in need… especially if they’re willing to cut her a check.
