Pennywise (Bill Skarsgård) is back and the Loser Club is ready for him. The first teaser trailer for It Chapter Two debuted today along with a movie poster. And by the looks of things, this movie will be better than the first.

It Chapter Two is the follow up to the 2017 movie It. It is based on a book by the King of horror novels, Stephen King. Director Andy Muschietti took up the mantle of remaking the film, splitting into two parts. The first movie focused on the Losers Club as children when they first encountered Pennywise the Dancing Clown. True to myth, the killer clown is back twenty-seven years later to terrorize Derry again. The Losers Club reassembles to deal with this supernatural being once and for all.

The teaser is really creepy. It features footage from the film that was shown at CinemaCon earlier this year. Beverly Marsh (Sophia Lillis /Jessica Chastain) is all grown up and returns to her father’s old apartment that is now inhabited by a little old lady. One cute throwback is when Beverly finds the postcard that Ben (Jeremy Ray Taylor / Jay Ryan) secretly gave to her. It’s clear the she remembers the gang fondly. The old lady seems harmless, but when the lady starts talking about her family, strange things start happening.

We do get to see the rest of the Losers Club all grown up in flashes of scenes where they walk through Derry, remembering their childhood. The gang, young and old walk through the tunnels where they faced off against Pennywise the first time. Creepy images of the clown…lots of red balloons…Bill (Jaeden Martell / James McAvoy) and Beverly kissing…it’s all there. And end with the eeriest ‘Hello’ from Pennywise that will make you shiver.

It Chapter Two also stars Bill Hader, James Ransone, Isaiah Mustafa, and Andy Bean as the adult Losers Club. Finn Wolfhard, Jack Dylan Grazer, Chosen Jacobs, and Wyatt Oleff return as the younger Losers Club. And Jackson Robert Scott returns as Georgie. Gary Dauberman wrote the script. Barbara Muschietti, Dan Lin and Roy Lee are producing with Seth Grahame-Smith and David Katzenberg executive producing. Check out the teaser and poster below.
