Rumors, rumors, rumors, but I suspect this one will turn out to be true.
The Mirror reports that Jenna Coleman will be leaving Doctor Who after this season. She has been playing companion, Clara Oswald, for three seasons of the long running scifi show and has reportedly been cast as Queen Victoria in a new project. There were rumors of her leaving last season and at the last minute, she made the decision to come back. Which I was happy with.
I was reminded last night, how much I truly enjoyed her last season, as I had the great fortune to see the BBC and Fathoms screening of the two-part finale. I felt like the first season, she wasn’t given much to do but man, did she knock it out of the park, especially with her storyline with Danny Pink.
I’m sure there will be much speculation about how she will leave the show, but my hope is that she’ll be reunited with Danny somehow.
