Last week, Team Flash suffered a huge loss. THE FLASH worked for most of the season to prevent this loss. Where did he go wrong?

A few months ago, Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) traveled to the future and watched Iris (Candice Patton) die. The team has been working to change future events. Savitar has always been one step ahead of the team…makes sense considering that Savitar is Barry.
Savitar revealed that he is a time remnant of Barry. The remnant was created by future Barry to defeat Savitar. Team Flash did not accept the time remnant as hero. Barry’s doppelganger made the decision to become a god and punish Team Flash for hurting him. Savitar has been putting events into place throughout time. The final piece is killing Iris, sending Barry into a dark place.
Team Flash enlisted the help of Tracy Brand (Anne Dudek) to create a trap for Savitar. Savitar used the Philosopher’s to deflect their trap. That was their last chance to stop Savitar. Savitar killed Iris in front of The Flash and her father Joe (Jesse L. Martin). How will the team overcome this loss? Can Barry find the motivation to stop Savitar?

Vibe (Carlos Valdes) separated from the team to meet Killer Frost (Danielle Panabaker). Cisco (Valdes) has seen this battle coming for some time now. Cisco didn’t really worry about it. Caitlin did her best to try to keep Killer Frost from emerging. Caitlin was severely injured and the only way to save her was to let Killer Frost take over. Killer Frost took over Caitlin (Panabaker)and joined Savitar. Now Cisco has to face Killer Frost to save himself and Caitlin.
Cisco has been trying to find a way to bring Caitlin back. He tried jogging her memories a couple of weeks ago. Caitlin is still in there. Cisco believes that they can save her. And maybe he can. Killer Frost asked Savitar if he really wants to kill Iris. Killer Frost seemed concerned about Iris. Is Caitlin coming back? Can Cisco save her before Killer Frost can kill him?
And what is this secret between Savitar and Killer Frost? What is it that Killer Frost is getting out of this deal?
