Fans of Amazon Prime’s latest original series Invincible are currently dancing in the streets! They took to Twitter today to not only share that the series will be returning for a second season but also a third!

The superhero series by Robert Kirkman follows the story of teenager Mark Grayson (voiced by Steven Yeun), whose father, Omni-Man (voiced by J.K. Simmons), is the strongest superhero in the world. As Grayson comes into his own powers, he starts to uncover just how dark his father’s legacy is. Invincible has been a hit with new and old fans alike. Many had taken to Twitter to share their need for another season. Now it is expected that we will see everyone return for the upcoming seasons, but no promises have been made just yet. We do know, though, that Yeun is on board to continue voicing Grayson for years to come.

This is honestly fantastic news for everyone! Superhero tv shows and movies have been a hit lately and it is always nice to see the smaller titles getting some screentime. What is even better is how this series features one of my favorite types of stories – passing the torch. As children, we hold ourselves to this standard to do better than our parents and we even see them through rose-tinted glasses. Watching this play out over the last couple of weeks has been such a wild ride and I can’t wait for it to continue.

The final episode of Invincible airs on April 30, 2021. If you haven’t caught up, you can watch it here! If you have been keeping up with the series, how are you liking it? Let us know in the comments below and on social media!
