We’ve got another accomplished actor joining the ranks of the DC Extended Universe. This time, it’s Invictus actor, Julian Lewis Jones, who will appear in Justice League.
The actor shared the news with WalesOnline, saying,
“I’m not allowed to say what part I play, but let’s just say I’ve a role in what will likely be the most expensive film ever made. It was filmed at Warner Brother’s studio at Leavesden as well as at various locations around the UK and Iceland. Directed by Zack Snyder it stars Ben Affleck, Jeremy Irons and host of A-list actors. I’m just happy to have been involved and I’m looking forward to the movie’s release which will be next year.”
As you can see from his quote, there is no mention of his role in the film. It seems unlikely that he’s playing a larger role, as WB most likely would have announced that. This feels more than likely a bureaucrat or soldier role, filling any number of roles from A.R.G.U.S. or S.T.A.R. Labs, someone who has an opinion about the meta-humans and is either working for them or against them as they take on the cosmic threat of Steppenwolf. Though, for that matter, there’s been no casting announcement for Steppenwolf, so for all we know Jones is playing that role.
