Can you feel that?

That’s the buzz of the burgeoning superhero box office we have ahead of us for the summer. The promotional blitz is starting, the ads are becoming more frequent and, before you know it, all us fangirls an fanboys will be sitting in seats, hating movies we should love and loving movies we should hate, tearing apart every last moment, questioning every last motive and dying to find all the Easter eggs before the fan next to us.

Part of the promotional blitz is always the release of the International trailers which, traditionally, are not wildly different from the trailers we’ve seen but typically offer some new footage to scrutinize. In some rare instances, it’s wildly different and it shows us even more of the movie, but that is not the case with this brand new international trailer for Fox Studio’s upcoming Marvel mutant movie, X-Men: Apocalypse.

It’s more or less the same trailer that was released just a few weeks ago. We see En Sabah Nur, in ancient Egypt, before he becomes Apocalypse (Oscar Isaac), as Moira McTaggart (Rose Byrne) tells us “Some believe that the first Mutant was born thousands of years ago and he was some kind of … god. And he’s going to rise again.”

Though it’s basically the same thing we’ve already seen, any X-Men: Apocalypse trailer can’t help but be epic because the X-Men in and of themselves are epic.
