Since airing a clip earlier this fall at New York Comic Con, the Teen Wolf: The Movie team hasn’t given fans much more to go on. We know that evil is back in Beacon Hills, along with Scott McCall (Tyler Posey), Lydia Martin (Holland Roden), Derek Hale (Tyler Hoechlin) and more original cast members. But the biggest reveal from that clip was the return of Allison Argent (Crystal Reed), last seen dying in Scott’s arms in season three of the series. Now she’s back, and seemingly haunted by the Nogitsune that killed her.

According to EW, Reed will be playing a very different version of her character. She said, “We don’t even know if she’s alive…We’re not supposed to tell you if she’s even alive or not. That’s what we got. She’s back but is she alive?” As for Scott’s return, Posey told EW the alpha werewolf will be different too. “He’s more relaxed when we first pick up,” he said, “but then he might have to resort to old ways when Beacon Hills summons him back.”

Is Allison the reason Scott heads back to Beacon Hills? Or is it the greater evil hinted at by the cast and crew? Thankfully, we don’t have to wait long to find out! Teen Wolf: The Movie debuts on Paramount Plus on January 26. Let us know how excited you are below, and enjoy even more new pictures.
