The above statement is what we learned today when the ICON-O-CLASH 2015 Sweet Sixteen round ended (see the results here). Battlestar Galactica heroines were killing it all day long. Starbuck and President Laura Roslin were in the lead. Then, something happened about an hour before the polls closed. What happened, you ask? Whedon fans happened, that’s what! The BSG vs Whedonverse came to a head and the Firefly women prevailed. Wow! Over 1400 votes per battle were counted this round!
Other interesting tidbits: Samantha Carter edged out Uhura by one vote. ONE FRAKKING VOTE. Ripley overtook Minerva and Princess Leia is leaving her competitors in the dust.
Now it’s time for the Elite Eight. You have one vote – MAKE IT COUNT! And, on Saturday, April 25 at 4pm, Geek Girl Authority and Legion of Leia will crown the Final Femme at the following ICON-O-CLASH panel at Wizard World Las Vegas:
