As we get closer to the premiere of Season 2 of The Handmaid’s Tale, Hulu just released a new teaser. While it does not give us any new information about what to expect in the new season, we can sense from the images and Offred (Elizabeth Moss) exclaiming “What in the actual…?” of what this new season has to offer. While the Handmaids are instructed to “wear the red dress, wear the wings, shut your mouth, be a good girl” among other expectations, we catch a glimpse of a red dress on fire and the familiar image of Offred covered in blood.
You can feel the tension happening in this teaser, as though something is about to give. As Offred sits patiently in the back of a wagon, you can see that she is resolute. We’ll find out what it all means in a little over a month.
