Even though this latest image from the wponx Instagram page for the upcoming film, Logan, doesn’t really reveal any new information to us regarding any of the characters or the plot of the film, it’s one of the more exciting images they’ve released thus far. This is simply due to the story you know it’s telling — either Wolverine is about to infiltrate an enemy compound and kill some dudes or he just did. Either way, you know it was some really cool, really exciting action to watch.
The image is very simple. It’s just Logan (Hugh Jackman), his shirt out, his claws popped, standing rigid and ready, as if he’s just caught the scent of someone trying to sneak up on him. What appears to be a body lies at his feet. Is he sneaking in to the compound to rescue somebody? To kill somebody? Is he escaping?
There’s a lot going on in this one simple picture that is all there to get one excited for the film, which also stars Patrick Stewart as Professor Charles Xavier, Dafne Keen as Laura Kinney and Boyd Holbrook as the homicidal cyborg, Donald Pierce.
He has two cats and knows all things about Doctor Strange but little else.
