Let’s rewind a bit. When Barry Allen aka The Flash (Grant Gustin) went back in time to save his mother, he created a new timeline called Flashpoint. Things started to break down, so Barry had to fix history. That created another new timeline that we are currently still in.
Nora has visited Central City on five occasions in season 4. First at Barry and Iris’ (Candice Patton) wedding. Second, at Jitters when she bought coffee for Cisco (Carlos Valdes) and Ralph (Hartley Sawyer). The third time, Nora bumped into Caitlin (Danielle Panabaker) and Harry (Tom Cavanagh), spilling coffee all over them. And the fourth time, she delivered a baby shower gift to Joe (Jesse L. Martin) and Cecile (Danielle Nicolet). That time, she almost came face to face with Iris, but ran away before Iris could get to the door. And this last time was in the season four finale when she revealed that she is Barry and Iris’ daughter. So does this mean that Nora has messed up the time line again? Did she mess something up each time she came back? And if she leaves…what changes?
That’s the big question when The Flash returns. Nora mentioned something about making a “big mistake.” Was that big mistake something that affected the timeline? Barry knows all too well what time travel can do. In the season premiere, Barry and Iris discuss the need to send Nora back to the future, without disrupting the timeline further. But, of course, Team Flash will have their hands full with a new villain, Cicada (Chris Kline). So while she’s in town, it doesn’t hurt to have another speedster on the team. Right?
In the War Zone trailer new villain arrives in Central City, causing chaos. Could Nora’s appearance alter the outcome of this fight for Team Flash? Watch the trailer below.
