House of the Dragon Season 3

The Targaryen civil war will see new faces joining the fray in House of the Dragon Season 3. Hot on the heels of casting announcements like James Norton as Ormund Hightower and Tommy Flanagan as Roddy the Ruin, these three are a mix of Team Black and Team Green supporters.

Barry Sloane takes on the role of Ser Adrian Redfort, a knight from House Redfort who swears fealty to Rhaenyra Targaryen (Emma D’Arcy). Redfort is a a house of the Vale. Sloane’s credits include Britbox original drama The Bay as Chris Fischer, 2024’s Passenger as Eddie Wells and ABC’a short-lived drama The Company You Keep as Connor Maguire. He can be seen next as The Prodigal in The Sandman Season 2.

Tom Cullen will play Ser Luthor Largent, a lowborn knight who rises through the City Watch ranks to commander during Viserys I Targaryen’s (Paddy Considine) reign and the Dance of the Dragons. Cullen’s credits include The Gold as John Palmer, STARZ’s Becoming Elizabeth as Thomas Seymour and Knightfall as Landry. Drama fans might remember him as Anthony Gillingham on Downton Abbey.

Joplin Sibtain will portray Ser Jon Roxton, aka Bold Jon Roxton. He’s a knight and the head of House Roxton, which is located in the Reach. He fights for Aegon II Targaryen (Tom Glynn-Carney). Sibtain is most known for playing Brasso in the Disney+’s Andor. Season 2 is now airing. His other credits include the voice of Olin in the game Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered and this year’s American Sweatshop, a mystery thriller, opposite Lili Reinhart.
