Over the last five years, Behaviour’s Dead by Daylight has become the ultimate horror crossover game. It includes chapters from Halloween, Nightmare on Elm Street, Saw, Stranger Things, Silent Hill, Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Scream, Ash vs. Evil Dead, Left 4 Dead 2 and soon Resident Evil. And on top of those, they have their own handful of original killers and survivors to torment us. But we love to be scared and we need more! Here is a list of eight horror franchises that we need to see collaborate with Dead by Daylight!

DISCLAIMER: There are possible spoilers for movies, games and stories below, so be mindful! Also, if you haven’t played Dead by Daylight – go! It’s available on PC through Steam, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.

Child’s Play

I don’t know how often I can yell out into the abyss that I want a doll killer in Dead by Daylight. I even wanted Angie from Resident Evil Village to join us in the Fog! So clearly, I want the most iconic horror murder doll – Chucky. Seriously, how haven’t we gotten him yet? Just imagine, you are on a generator just about to pop it when something comes running at you through the tall grass and out leaps a colorful Chucky doll! Terrifying and thus perfect for this game. There is also a plethora of survivors to choose from in the Child’s Play franchise! We could pull Karen or Mike from the original film or an older Andy like in Child’s Play 3.

Blair Witch

Now hear me out here. I don’t want the Witch from the Blair Witch franchise for Dead by Daylight. I want Carver. If you played any of Hunt a Killer‘s games or Lionsgate Games’ Blair Witch video game, then you know who I am talking about. In both games, Carver is the one who lures the children into the woods. The physical part of the horror within the franchise. He is controlled by the Witch, so it makes sense that he could be pulled into the Fog and controlled by the Entity. As far as a survivor goes, I would skip over Ellis and go for either Jess from the video game or Rosemary from Hunt a Killer’s first Blair Witch chapter.

Cabin In The Woods

I could die a happy person if Dead by Daylight got a Cabin in the Woods chapter. I mean, this movie has more than enough killers to choose from. But my bet is on merman. Because if you know – you know. But seriously, that entire underground complex is full of monsters to choose from. And speaking of the complex, I would love nothing more than for it to replace the Hawkin’s map we will be losing in November! And the only survivor I want to see cross into the Fog is everyone’s favorite stoner, Marty!

Until Dawn

One of my favorite narrative horror games is Until Dawn. I absolutely loved the characters within the game. And a killer for Dead by Daylight would definitely be one of the Wendigos. In fact, I want it to be Hannah as a Wendigo! There are so many cool skins they could make where she shifts between her human form and as she transforms. As far as survivors go, there is a vast list to pull from. But, what I would love to see is having one join and then legendary skins that allow you to flip through all of the characters. Plus, how cool would it be to get an entire map that is built on a mountainside? Or the tunnels!

Silence of the Lambs

Okay, I know we already have Bubba and Hag. But what if we had a killer who actually ate the survivors? How about a Meg burrito or Ace sandwich? Could you imagine what a Silence of the Lambs mori would look like? Just imagine Lecter sitting down with a fork and knife. Or we could go an entirely different route with Buffalo Bill. If I had to choose between the two, I would definitely go with Bill in the end and try to find a way to incorporate his night vision stalking into the game. As far as a survivor, it would have to be Clarice Starling. I’d love another scream queen to join the ranks of Laurie!

Dying Light

I know we just got zombies with Resident Evil, but I mean – why not more? And what better than to pull from Dying Light. Those zombies are terrifying during the night and would be perfect for surviving against. They could even pull from any of the superinfected ones such as the night hunters or volatiles. Plus, there are so many survivors to choose from. They could go with the tried and true Kyle Crane or even Jade. Plus I’m sure Behaviour could find a way to include the parkour aspect of the game into perks.

Candyman

I absolutely love Tony Todd, which is why I need Candyman to come to Dead by Daylight. I think it would be great to have a killer with a hook on his hand! They could also find a way to incorporate bees into the abilities! I’d chase the Candyman around the map all day long just to get a look at that hook hand. And for a survivor, I would love to see Brianna! And I would need Behaviour to do their best to make her look as close to Teyonah Parris as possible!

Terminator

Can I interest you in a Cyberdyne Systems Model 101 T-800 to stalk you through the Fog? The Entity could do not better than our favorite cyborg Terminator. And I know what you are going to say. This isn’t a horror franchise, but I don’t care. Terminator is a top-tier choice and I will not hear otherwise. Survivors? Sarah Connor. She is the queen and frankly, the Entity should be terrified pulling her into his realm. Behaviour, do it. You know we want it.
