It’s PAX West time, formerly known as PAX Prime, which means every year Seattle shenanigans ensue and different companies pull different marketing stunts. One of the fun stunts this year is the invasion of Watchers,
Horizon Zero Dawn is an upcoming PlayStation exclusive that takes place in a post apocalyptic world where sentient, animal-like robots roam the world and humans have gone back to a tribal society. Watchers are mechanical creatures that keep their lone eye on all that is going on around them, hence the name. They act as early warning systems for their herd and other mechs in the vicinity.
Hollywood design studio, Spectral Motion, created a 13-foot Watcher suit that made an appearance during this past E3. They have multiplied and invaded downtown Seattle. Take a look at the videos below for their street appearances and how they were made.
