We received some pretty exciting news during Dead by Daylight‘s sixth-anniversary stream today. New Funko Pops, quality of life changes, a new chapter, etc. But nothing got us more excited than the out-of-left-field announcement trailer for Hooked On You. This isn’t a new chapter, and it isn’t a joke. Behaviour has partnered with developer Psyop, the fantastic group behind I Love You, Colonel Sanders, to bring us a new dating sim! This time we are romancing some of our favorite killers that have found a home in the Fog.

Hooked On You brings Trapper, Huntress, Wraith and Spirit out of Dead by Daylight and to the beach! Players will get the chance to help them shed their inhibitions by choosing the right words. This will unlock deeply intimate sides of their personalities, and each of them has multiple possible endings—these range from passionate true love, platonic friendship and bitter, bitter loathing. Anything can happen on Murderer’s Island!

If you are still thinking that this is some kind of joke, we are too. But everything is pointing to this being the truth. And we couldn’t be more excited. They discussed that the game would feature lore and references to the backstories already present within Dead by Daylight during the presentation. But, not much else has been shared beyond that. Hooked On Me is set to drop this summer, so we won’t have to wait long for more exciting information.

Our biggest wish is that we will see more killers and maybe even survivors added to the game as future characters. We understand that the chance of adding licensed characters is slim to none, but Behaviour has more than enough original characters to choose from. Check out the trailer for Hooked On You below!
