This week, Honest Trailers put aside their schedule and got right to work on a Labyrinth trailer to honor the passing of musical legend David Bowie. Labyrinth was a staple for genre-loving 1980’s kids and has continued to be a cult classic for the following generations. David Bowie plays Jareth the Goblin King, a character that has spawned many a cosplay at cons everywhere. Honest Trailers goes for it in the beginning with “Get ready for the 1980’s cult classic that we never thought we’d make an Honest Trailer for but decided to do, so we can talk about how awesome David Bowie was.” HT also brings the truth that we don’t wanna hear – Labyrinth doesn’t hold up. Except for David Bowie, he will always hold up.
