ScreenJunkies delivers yet again with their Honest Trailer for Rogue One. Their praise for the original trilogy and near slashing of the prequels, where does Rogue One fall on the spectrum? Turns out, it’s a little bit of both!

We “memba” Darth Vader and A New Hope so ScreenJunkies instantly calls out the film for cashing in on the nostalgia factor, using it on many things. Especially the blue milk! They also tear into most of the characters for being a bit bland, calling K2SO the one with most personality. And he’s the robot. Going even further, they say that the film is the biggest budget fan film, calling it a film that essentially fills a pot hole.

It’s not all bad news for the film though. They do admit that it’s one of the most beautiful Star Wars films ever released. And that while the Easter Eggs are fun, some of them are over-the-top. Admittedly, I’m one of those fans that gushed over the references. Cause I’m a sucker, ok? But I think everyone agrees that the Darth Vader hallway scene is one of the best Star Wars movie moments put to film.
