High Spirits Neoma
Our first WEBTOON series to binge this weekend is Oroor0‘s High Spirits Neoma. The story follows the upbeat and kind Neoma Cruz, who uses her supernatural abilities to help humans and spirits. When she relocates to a new town, her entire world is flipped upside down as family secrets resurface while she tries to investigate cursed spirits. It’s one thing after another as ghosts from her family’s past decide it’s time to return, and even Neoma has a few secrets of her own.
High Spirits Neoma is a recent addition to our WEBTOON weekly reads list. While it was only released in October on WEBTOON Originals, Oroor0’s had the series running on WEBTOON Canvas for quite a while. It’s incredible to see the changes in their art style over the years and watch the story grow. Neoma is an amazing character and one we instantly fell in love with. If teen supernatural stories are something you typically enjoy, this has to be on your list.

Winter Woods
Our second WEBTOON series this week is COSMOS and VANJ’s Winter Woods. The drama series follows Jane, a writer struggling to find her next big story when the unthinkable falls into her lap. A young man named Winter appears and is willing to exchange his story for a place to live. And what could make a better story than the fact that Winter is over 1000 years old and the creation of a now-dead alchemist? But the more they interact, the more the two realize that they have made a bigger impact on the other than expected.
Winter Woods is a series that took us by complete surprise. The drama WEBTOON comes off as romance-esque with a slight twist until you load the first chapter. The twists and turns in Winter’s story are incredible. The story’s character development really helps draw readers in, along with the connection between Jane and Winter. It’s heartwarming in all the best ways without coming across as over the top. Since the series is complete, you can enjoy this one from beginning to end.
