By now I think most of us have heard about Hidden Figures, the mostly unknown story of three African American women that were the brains behind the missions during the space age.  Now we are getting a better look at the movie as a whole through a featurette and a poster.

First things first, can we talk about this poster.  I mean, it’s about as heroic as you can get.  Three strong women walking towards the camera with NASA all around them.  It’s a hero walk, and it’s brilliant.  I get goosebumps every time I look at it.

The brief behind the scenes look features snippets of interviews of Parrell Williams (a producer on the film), Taraji P. Henson, Octavia Spencer, Janelle Monáe.

Hidden Figures is the incredible untold story of Katherine G. Johnson (Taraji P. Henson), Dorothy Vaughan (Octavia Spencer) and Mary Jackson (Janelle Monáe)—brilliant African-American women working at NASA, who served as the brains behind one of the greatest operations in history: the launch of astronaut John Glenn into orbit, a stunning achievement that restored the nation’s confidence, turned around the Space Race, and galvanized the world. The visionary trio crossed all gender and race lines to inspire generations to dream big.

Hidden Figures blasts into theaters January 13, 2017.
