They are ready to rumble! Released on EW, we have a brand new image of Ant-Man and the Wasp to feast our eyes on. Hope van Dyne (Evangeline Lilly) had to sit the last movie out because of her overly protective father. But in the upcoming sequel, she’s joined up with Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) to kick some major butt in her sweet new suit.

In the photo, we have Hope and Scott decked out in their Ant-Man and The Wasp suits given to them by a retired Hank Pym (Michael Douglas). It’s our first (official) good look at the Wasp helmet! In the photo we can see the helmet she’s rocking is very similar to Ant-Man’s. We’ve also seen her suit in action, via flashback, in the original film and we know that it has wings. But we’ve yet to see the wings that Hope will use. Maybe the next photo? We’re also not quite sure where they are or what they’re doing in the photo. Possibly at Pym Technologies.

With Michelle Pfeiffer being cast as Janet van Dyne, Hope’s missing mother, we hope what they’re up to has something to do with her return. We know that the film will be after the events of Captain America: Civil War. But given it’s release date, it’s currently unknown if the events will also take place after Avengers: Infinity War. In the mean time, oggle the picture along with me and freshen up on the synopsis.

From the Marvel Cinematic Universe comes Ant-Man and The Wasp, a new chapter featuring heroes with the astonishing ability to shrink. In the aftermath of Captain America: Civil War, Scott Lang grapples with the consequences of his choices as both a super hero and a father. As he struggles to rebalance his life with his responsibilities as Ant-Man, he’s confronted by Hope van Dyne and Dr. Hank Pym with an urgent new mission. Scott must once again put on the suit and learn to fight alongside the Wasp as the team works together to uncover secrets from the past
