Winter Veil has official begun in the Nexus, bringing with it festive skins, mounts, bonus XP, quests, and rewards.  So log in, get your holiday duds on, and brawl for a new portrait and mount in Heroes of the Storm.

Running from December 14 through January 4, Winter Veil will grant you 25% addition XP for each game.  If you complete 25 games, minus Heroes Brawl mode, you will unlock the Special Snowflake portrait and earn permanent access to the Festive Treasure Goblin Mount.  Look both stylish and ridiculous year round while striking fear into your enemies when you ride into battle on this noble steed.

But that’s not the only fun to be had this Winter Veil.  New and old skins are in the shop for your purchasing pleasure.  Last year we got holiday themed skins for Stitches, Sylvanas, Jaina, Rehgar with a special Reign-Deer mount.  All are back in a special bundle, Winter Veil Classic.  If you missed out on any of those delights last year, grab them this year since there is never any guarantee these will return for a third time.  But wait, there’s more!  This year we get a new 2016 bundle containing Lunara, Nazeebo, and a Special Snowflake Mount.

Winter Veil 2016 Bundle:

  • Special Snowflake Mount
  • Lunara
  • Winter Veil Lunara Skin
  • Nazeebo
  • Gingerdread Nazeebo Skin

Winter Veil Classic Bundle:

  • Stitches
  • Greatfather Winter Stitches Skin
  • Sylvanas
  • Sugar Plum Sylvanas Skin
  • Jaina
  • Winter Veil Jaina Skin
  • Rehgar
  • Great-father Winter Rehgar Skin
  • Reign-Deer Mount

Players will get one more treat before the celebration is done, a new Heroes Brawl.  Currently Garden Arena is still the weekly Brawl, but an argument could be made for either a patch dropping off the normal Tuesday.  If that doesn’t happen, then expect it to hit the Nexus on December 20th. I really need zombie gingerbread men, attacking gingerbread spiders, and gummy bosses in my life.
