The Hellboy reboot starring David Harbour, Milla Jovovich, Ian McShane, Sasha Lane and Daniel Dae Kim finally has a trailer. It’s a doozy. This trailer is really cool, really dark and definitely NSFW!!!
Harbour is big, bad and ugly in all the right ways. The first trailer that came out in December last year focused mainly on Hellboy’s relationships with his human partners. This one gets more into his connection to Nimue the Blood Queen (Jovovich) and the forces of darkness.
We see some more monster action in this trailer. And, much more colorful language… the film has been rated R, after all. Most notably, we get a little confirmation as to the use of the source material. A lot of the monsters are a direct reference to the comic book saga Hellboy: The Wild Hunt written by Mike Mignola and illustrated by Duncan Fegredo. And, we see Kim’s character, which originated in the B.P.R.D. comic, transform into a were-jaguar! It can’t hurt to have an apex predator on your side. We also get new jokes, a giant sword fight, bat boxer and a sexy blood shower! Check it out!
