Do you see animated leaves everywhere you look? This is a sure sign you are overdue for a return to the world of Heartstopper. During the TUDUM 2023 fan event on Saturday, June 17, 2023, Netflix unveiled the first scene of Heartstopper Season 2. You can watch the scene below. In addition, all eight Season 2 episode titles were revealed.
Heartstopper Season 2
Heartstopper is based on the graphic novel series by Alice Oseman. Originally published as a webcomic, Heartstopper Volume Five is scheduled to be published on November 9, 2023, in the UK, Ireland, Australia and New Zealand.
While the focal point of the Heartstopper graphic novels is the titular romance, the Netflix adaptation has further expanded the presence of the supporting cast beyond the two young lovers. Oseman herself was involved in the writing process of Season 2, so fans can rest assured these expansions align with her creative vision.
Hearstopper stars Kit Connor as Nick Nelson and Joe Locke as Charlie Spring. Additionally, Yasmin Finney, William Gao, Corinna Brown, Kizzy Edgell, Fisayo Akinade, Sebastian Croft, Tobie Donovan, Rhea Norwood, Jenny Walser and Cormac Hyde-Corrin will be returning for Season 2. Also returning will be Olivia Colman and Stephen Fry. New cast members for the season will include Leila Khan, Jack Barton, Bradley Riches and Nima Taleghani.
The eight episode titles revealed are: “Out,” “Family,” “Promise,” “Challenge,” “Heat,” “Truth / Dare,” “Sorry” and “Perfect.” And while Season 2 will begin streaming on August 3, 2023, we already know it will be followed by an additional final season. Will you be checking both of them out when they arrive?
