This comes hot on the heels of the series wrapping its most recent season on September 15 and news of the show’s renewal for Season 4. The Season 3 finale found our lovebirds embarking on diverging paths while staying loyal to each other. After Bruce Wayne is arrested for tax fraud, Harley (Kaley Cuoco) lends her services to the Bat Family, which consists of Batgirl, Nightwing and Robin. Yes, our girl might be on her way to becoming a hero. Meanwhile, Ivy (Lake Bell) accepts a job from Lex Luthor to spearhead the Legion of Doom chapter in Gotham.

Besides Cuoco and Bell, the voice cast for Harley Quinn: A Very Problematic Valentine’s Day Special boasts some Harley Quinn veterans and newbies, including Alan Tudyk, Matt Oberg, James Wolk, Natalie Morales, Chris Diamantopoulos, James Adomian, Jim Rash, Vanessa Marshall, Janet Varney, Rachel Dratch, Leila Birch, Tyler James Williams, Josh Helman, Casey Wilson, Michael Ironside and more.

I’m so tickled we’re getting a holiday-themed episode! It feels right for a show like this. Harley Quinn constantly pushes the envelope from a creative standpoint, and the writers will undoubtedly cook up something fun for us. I hope we also get a taste of where we’re heading for Season 4. On a similar note: why is this special problematic? Knowing this series, I’m sure it’s a tongue-in-cheek nod.

Get ready for Harlivy at their mushy-gushiest when Harley Quinn: A Very Problematic Valentine’s Day Special crash lands on HBO Max in February 2023.
