It’s been a while since we’ve had any news about Westworld. The popular sci-fi series has been pretty mum about when it would be returning. However, HBO confirmed today that the third season is definitely on the way. Unfortunately for fans, it won’t be for a while. The third season is coming some time in 2020. While no specific date was given, it’ll likely be later in the year as production for the season just began.
Fans have a lot to look forward to with the upcoming season. Deadline reported that Aaron Paul (Breaking Bad) was added as a series regular. Producers have remained mum on who he could be playing but it’s exciting nevertheless. We also learned very recently that Lena Waithe (Ready Player One) will also be joining the cast. Again, the producers are being tight lipped on who she could be playing but Deadline believes she’ll be critical to the series between the human and robot drama.
