According to Screenrant, Hasbro revealed the release date for Marvel’s Hawkeye and Ms. Marvel series. The two shows will debut on Disney+ in 2021. The reveal happened at the Hasbro presentation at the 2020 New York Toy Fair.
Hasbro showed a graphic for the upcoming toys based on the Marvel shows scheduled for Disney+. The toy company has to coordinate with the studio on the release of the toy line, making the information pretty legit.
According to comicbook.com, production on Ms. Marvel is scheduled to start in April, giving the special effects team time to put in the finishing touches. Ms. Marvel could debut as early as Summer 2021.
Hawkeye is scheduled to debut in the fall of 2021, starring Hawkeye himself, Jeremy Renner. That gives the studio time to find the second lead, Kate Bishop. Hailee Steinfeld is still at the top of the list to play Kate, if she’s not too busy.
Marvel will begin its small screen dominance this fall with the debut of Falcon and the Winter Soldier in August and WandaVision in December. Loki premieres in Spring 2021, What If…? will debut in Summer 2021 and then Hawkeye. Ms. Marvel, Moon Knight and She-Hulk are in development for Disney+ as well.
We can’t forget about the big screen, starting with Black Widow, premiering May 1. The Eternals debut on November 6th. WandaVision will set up the events leading up to Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, set for May 7, 2021. Spider-Man 3 returns on July 16, 2021. Thor: Love and Thunder is scheduled for November 5, 2021, and Black Panther 2 on May 6, 2022.
