Halo is an epic 26th-century conflict between humanity and the alien threat known as the Covenant. Paramount Plus’ series will weave together powerfully drawn personal stories with the action and adventure gamers will recognize from the franchise. Pablo Schreiber will be taking on the iconic role of Master Chief alongside Jen Taylor as Cortana. We will also see Natacha McElhone as Dr. Halsey. The series will also star Bokeem Woodbine, Shabana Azmi, Natasha Culzac, Olive Gray, Yerin Ha, Bentley Kalu, Kate Kennedy, Charlie Murphy and Danny Sapani.

The Halo trailer shows off just how stunning this series is set to look. The real challenge will come with ensuring that the series has a diverse story and cast of characters to hold viewers’ interest. TV adaptations of video games have been known to look good in trailers and fall hard when finally released. For many who already know the story of Halo, they will be looking for more. The trailer does show a good amount of additional characters who may find themselves with just as much screen time as Master Chief. So let’s hope that they are given enough to catch out attention.

Halo is set to launch exclusively on Paramount Plus in 2022. Check back in for more news! We’ve linked the new trailer below for your enjoyment. What do you think of Master Chief? Let us know in the comments below and on social media!
