It’s Time to Rise From the Fall in HALO Season 2 Trailer

  • Paramount+ has unleashed the action-packed official trailer for Halo Season 2, which you can watch below. 
  • Additionally, the streamer shared first-look photos of Joseph Morgan’s character, James Ackerson, along with key art for the season. 
  • The series will return on Thursday, February 8, 2024, with the first two episodes on Paramount+. 

The Battle Has Begun 

“We have something the enemy does not … we have heroes.” 

Halo Season 2 is around the corner, and thankfully, Paramount+ has unveiled another trailer to tide us over. The high-octane glimpse into the video game adaptation’s sophomore season comes less than a month before its premiere. 

Here’s a synopsis for Season 2 per Paramount+: 

“In Season 2, Master Chief John-117 (Pablo Schreiber) leads his team of elite Spartans against the alien threat known as the Covenant. In the wake of a shocking event on a desolate planet, John cannot shake the feeling that his war is about to change and risks everything to prove what no one else will believe – that the Covenant is preparing to attack humanity’s greatest stronghold. With the galaxy on the brink, John embarks on a journey to find the key to humankind’s salvation, or its extinction: the Halo.”

The Cast 

Besides Schreiber, series regulars include Natascha McElhone as Dr. Catherine Halsey, Jen Taylor as Cortana, Bokeem Woodbine as Soren-066, Shabana Azmi as Admiral Margaret Parangosky, Natasha Culzac as Riz-028, Olive Gray as Dr. Miranda Keyes, Yerin Ha as Kwan Ha, Bentley Kalu as Vannak-134, Kate Kennedy as Kai-125, Charlie Murphy as Makee, Tylan Bailey as Kessler, Fiona O’Shaughnessy as Laera and Danny Sapani as Captain Jacob Keyes. Executive producer and showrunner David Wiener returns at the helm. 

We’ll see a few new faces in Season 2. Joseph Morgan will join the fray as James Ackerson, while Cristina Rodlo will portray Talia Perez. Christina Bennington also boards the series in an undisclosed role.
