The beautiful, amazing and wonderfully tall Gwendoline Christie appeared as a guest on Late Night With Seth Meyers Tuesday. She was delightfully open about Brienne’s relationship with Tormund, her worship of Madonna, and the worst fan request ever.
The big question that Christie answered for Game of Thrones fans, was ‘how does Brienne feel about the looks from Tormund Giantsbane?’ In a word, she described them as ‘terrifying’. Being very candid in the interview, Christie admitted that Kristofer Hivju, who plays Tormund, took her offgaurd with the intensity of the look. Not that we would expect anything less from the wildling, he apparently takes the on-screen attraction seriously; bringing it off-screen and taunting Christie with similar looks while ‘wildly masticating’ at her during lunch.

Christie also recounted her recent and first experience with seeing Madonna in concert, being pulled on stage, and weeping with joy at all of it. It’s so fun to see those that we admire, admiring others isn’t it? What is not to be admired is the celebrity that comes with a great acting job. Christie also told Meyers the story of an encounter in the women’s restroom that would make anybody weep with the creep of it all.
