It’s time to face the music. Marvel fans were treated to a new official trailer for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 during the Super Bowl LVII. As expected, we’re in for a hilariously heartwarming romp that’ll put our tear ducts into overdrive.
Punctuated by Rainbow’s “Since You’ve Been Gone,” the trailer gives us a taste of the final chapter in the Guardians of the Galaxy trilogy. Peter Quill opens with narration, explaining how he formed the Guardians, fell in love with a girl, said girl died and then she came back to life. We see Gamora pushing Peter around and treating him quite differently. She seems more like Nebula than Nebula.

Here’s a synopsis for the film per Marvel.com:
“In Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, our beloved band of misfits are settling into life on Knowhere. But it isn’t long before their lives are upended by the echoes of Rocket’s turbulent past. Peter Quill, still reeling from the loss of Gamora, must rally his team around him on a dangerous mission to save Rocket’s life—a mission that, if not completed successfully, could quite possibly lead to the end of the Guardians as we know them.”
In addition, the trailer offers a glimpse of Adam Warlock, played by Will Poulter, in action, along with Peacemaker‘s Chukwudi Iwuji as The High Evolutionary. The High Evolutionary claims he wants to create a better society, but Rocket knows better.
