Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2 doesn’t come out until May 5th but press got to see it early today. One of the big things to hear from the press was how many post credit scenes there are. ScreenRant posted an article stating 4 but director and writer James Gunn corrected them.

So far, the reviews for the film have been glowing, overall very positive. With the massive success of the first, it’s almost not surprising that it’s getting such high praise. And with the news that Gunn will be back to direct the third film, everything’s going really well. However, it seems like Gunn was a little reluctant to say goodbye to the Guardians and MCU in his latest installment. According to press who were able to catch a screener today, there were 5 post credit scenes. Five! How can there be so many?

While the rest of us will have to wait to see all the endings, we’ll hear more from the press over the coming days what to look forward to in the film. Not sure how the 5th post credit scene gets confused with only 4 but time will tell. It’s a little over two weeks away and the hype train has well and truly left the station! Fans will have to wait just a little longer before we’re able to bask in all the Guardian glory.

What do you think of the news? Wondering what will be featured in all those endings? Let us know and be sure to come back to Geek Girl Authority for more Guardians of the Galaxy news! Be sure to see Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2 in theaters May 5th.
