My oh my this is a goofy one. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2 was a complete success earlier this year. And what better way to celebrate it’s home release then in song. Embracing the 70s music of the previous film with some disco, some of the cast and co created a music video of epic proportions. How epic? Two words – David Hasselhoff.
The music video features the main cast out of costume, as The Sneepers, “singing” and dancing up a storm. Pom Klementieff and Sean Gunn are back-up singers, Michael Rooker (bringing back the Ravager Rustle) and Zoe Saldana are keyboardist (you can never have too many). Dave Bautista wears massive angel wings while shredding on guitar. Karen Gillan joins in the backup singers. And then – the Hoff or, I’m sorry, Zardu Hasselfrau. He sings from the point of view of Peter Quill with hilarious lyrics like bringing a baby into battle since he didn’t learn parenting skills due to his father being a planet.

Director James Gunn isn’t left out of the party as he brings his Groot dance moves and some fierce mutton chops. And of course, the face of Marvel himself, Mr. Stan Lee makes a cameo. It’s hilarious, it’s over-the-top, it’s Guardians. “No Chris Pratt?”, you yell to me? Just watch and see!
