This week’s Gotham, in which we see Bruce take his first Batmobile for a test run and betrayal is the word of the day.

Barbara (Erin Richards) is yet again admiring the old painting of herself in Ra’s Al Ghul’s office. She is attacked by the League of Shadows women. They explain that they were trying to trigger the Demon’s Head powers that she has. She tells them they need to try harder.

Bruce (David Mazouz) is showing his new car off to Selina (Camren Bicondova) . They are meeting up with Tabitha (Jessica Lucas) who has told them that Barbara needs their help. It turns out to be a trap for Bruce. The male half of the League of Shadows needs his blood to resurrect Ra’s Al Ghul (Alexander Siddig).

Zombie Ra’s is not happy about being resurrected until he finds out that Barbara is misusing her powers. He goes to the mansion to confront her. She refuses to give the powers back. He tries to kill her but she escapes. Bruce picks her up.

Meanwhile, Gordon (Ben McKenzie) and Bullock (Donal Logue) are investigated five bank robberies that all occurred in one night. They immediately suspect Ed Nygma (Cory Michael Smith). Gordon goes to talk to Lee (Morena Baccarin). She covers for Ed, but Gordon realizes that she was in on it.

As Lee is giving the stolen money to the people of The Narrows, Penguin (Robin Lord Taylor) and Butch (Drew Powell) show up demanding half. Lee and Riddler tell them no. Penguin accuses Lee of using Riddler.

Back at Wayne Manor they’re discussing how to kill Ra’s again. They need to get the knife, which has been donated to an embassy. Bruce and Barbara both insist they will be the one to use it.

Alfred (Sean Pertwee) and Tabitha show up at the embassy and create the funniest diversion ever so that Selina can steal the knife. Selina gives the knife to Barbara instead of Bruce. Later, she realizes that Barbara doesn’t have a grand plan and goes off to get Bruce. She explains to Bruce that she gave the knife to Barbara to save him from having to kill Ra’s again.

Riddler goes to Penguin and explains that there’s too much Ed still in him. He wants Penguin and Butch to help with the next heist. During the robbery, Riddler seems to turn on Lee, but betrays Penguin, instead. He tells Lee that he knows she is using him, but he sees a darkness in her. The virus she was infected with was just buried deep and shooting Sophia brought it to the surface.

Before they can make their getaway, the police show up. Lee surrenders to Gordon, letting Riddler get away with the money.

Barbara lures Ra’s to the club. When she stabs him nothing happens. During the ensuing fight, Barbara starts to access some of her Demon’s Head powers. Ra’s takes Tabitha hostage and threatens to slit her throat. Barbara sees a vision of him doing it and decides that the powers aren’t worth losing Tabitha.

Bruce and Selina arrive in time to see Ra’s take back the powers. Bruce tries to kill him again, but Ra’s destroys the knife and disappears. He reappears at Wayne Manor as Bruce and Selina are trying to decide what to do next.

Ra’s explains that he isn’t after Bruce anymore. He’s seen a vision of a cataclysmic event hitting Gotham. The city will be in flames and Bruce will rise as a dark knight.
