The good folks at Hollywood Reporter have an exclusive featurette that shows what we can expect from the next half of the season for Fox’s hit show, Gotham.
You can watch the video HERE.
In it, we see Ben McKenzie, who plays Detective Jim Gordon in the series, giving us some insight into what’s going on with his character as he’s demoted to a position as a prison guard at the notorious Arkham Asylum. According to the video, there is a series of seemingly-connected murders in Arkham, giving Detective Gordon a new mystery to solve. And, apparently, it deals with an electrical genius as they all involve electro-shock therapy. Perhaps we’ll get a Lester Buchinsky aka The Electrocutioner, appearance?
McKenzie goes on to say, “Jim is going to interact with some fairly legendary Arkham Asylum who may or may not escape from Arkham Asylum.”
Which is then followed by this shot of a newspaper that reads, “Arkham Lunatic Duo Escape.”
Fingers firmly crossed we finally see real life versions of Tweedledee and Tweedledum on the small screen!
Also, we get an inmate telling some strange nursery rhyme of a poem that mentions “owls.” Think we’ll see a small screen adaptation of Scott Synder’s Court of Owls?
Here’s the synopsis for the episode:
