We all know that the season three big bad of CW’s hit series, The Flash, is Savitar, the self-proclaimed god of speed. However, with so many episodes left in the season, Savitar cannot be the main focus of each episode. He’ll always be there, running somewhere in the background while Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) and his team face other threats that are sure to come along.
And one of those other threats will be Gorilla Grodd. And just how do we know this? Because the actor that supplies Gorilla Grodd’s voice, David Sobolov, has tweeted out saying so.

Of course, we don’t have any other details from him regarding this, however, earlier this year at the Television Critics Association, showrunners mentioned that Barry Allen might pay a visit to Gorilla City, which is, of course, where Gorilla Grodd has been since Barry exiled him there last season.
If you remember, Gorilla Grodd has been teased since the pilot, when we saw his name on a cage that had been smashed open. He’s a super strong, highly intelligent gorilla who’s telepathy is so strong he can actually make people do things against their will. He’s enough of a threat on his own, but now he’s been exiled from our Earth to another where he’s surrounded by a city full of powerful gorilla citizens all following his lead. He’s angry, hates Barry Allen and eager for vengeance. Sounds like a good match up.
He has two cats and knows all things about Doctor Strange but little else.
