Glassified: Terry Gilliam Tries Google Glass For the First Time After Monty Python Reunion Show

Fangirl, friend and Google Glass enthusiast Margo Rowder just had a trip of a lifetime. Rowder scored opening night seats for the Monty Python Reunion show in London. Within minutes of Monty Python taking the stage, she found herself in tears. Who could blame her. I’d probably would have dropped down and prostrated myself on the ground with everyone’s beer cups and spit all around me. I digress…

What happened after the show was awesome, Rowder decided to film the meet and greet with her Google Glass. Terry Gilliam struck up a conversation with her and then…….. well, just watch. I’m going to lie prostrate in front of my computer screen while I watch this again.

  1. Oh my gosh, can you believe that? I still don’t. It was a dream, wasn’t it?

I’m sure you could tell from my onscreen reaction how thrilling that was (despite my onscreen reaction: “Look over there!”) Speaking of which, what perfectly characteristic reactions from both Gilliam and Cleese, within the tiniest little 10-second microcosm of behavior and dialogue.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again – if you’d told me Terry Gilliam would be recording with my Glass or that Eric Idle would smile at me like he did, I’d have laughed in your face and then slapped it. With a fish.

Thank you again for sharing this! I had a feeling the Geek Girls and GGA fans would enjoy. 🙂
