Last month, fans of Ginny & Georgia got the exciting news that the Netflix show has been renewed for Season Two. The Gilmore Girls-esque show ended on a cliffhanger that was too good not to address in another season. There are definite spoilers ahead as we dive into what Season Two might look like.
The Siblings
In the season finale of Ginny & Georgia, 16-year-old Ginny (Antonia Gentry) and her 9-year-old brother, Austin (Diesel La Torraca), hit the road on a motorcycle in an attempt to put some space between them and their mother. Neither one of them are pleased with the way that Georgia (Brianne Howey) has handled life.
Although their mother has the best intentions, Georgia’s tendency to do anything by any means necessary is enough to convince them to take matters into their own hands. The big question is this: Where are they going? Perhaps to Ginny’s cooler than cool dad, Zion (Nathan Mitchell), or to Austin’s mystery dad. There’s also the possibility that they could be headed to Ginny’s grandparents’ (Zion’s parent’s) house for the sake of balance and structure.

Georgia’s Love Life
When the season ends, we witness the engagement of Georgia and Mayor Paul Randolph (Scott Porter), making her the soon-to-be first lady of the town. As we’ve learned, Georgia doesn’t do anything without a motive. Her fiancé being the most powerful man in town is no coincidence.
However, there’s still that nagging feeling that she and Ginny’s dad, Zion, will never be done with each other. Then, you have sweet Joe (Raymond Ablack), the local coffee shop owner (Sound familiar?) Georgia crossed paths with long ago who made a lasting impression. He may secretly love her, but could she possibly love him back? Time will tell.

Ginny’s BFF Mess
We may have seen the demise of M.A.N.G. at the end of the first season, but there’s still hope. Ginny will be reported as “missing.” Max (Sara Waisglass), the queen bee of the group, will come to her senses and forgive Ginny for sleeping with her brother. Eventually, she may also forgive her other BFF for not telling her the truth about what was going on between Ginny and her brother. They’re teenagers. They’ll bounce back.

Ginny’s Love Life
One of the reasons Ginny is on her way out of town is because she’s running from her chaotic love life. She’s in love with her best friend’s brother, Marcus (Felix Mallard), and he loves her back. Cute, but messy. Then there’s poor Hunter (Mason Temple). The guy that puts all boyfriends to shame with his dancing and bedroom talents.
Unfortunately, just like the cliché, the misunderstood bad boy won her over instead. Maybe Marcus and Hunter will team up to search for Ginny and Austin. Given that Ginny is her mother’s child, it wouldn’t be a surprise if Ginny returned to town with a new boyfriend — if she ever comes back.
