Who you gonna call when that chill seeps into your bones? Why, the Ghostbusters, of course. Sony Pictures Entertainment released a teaser trailer for the hotly anticipated sequel to Ghostbusters: Afterlife, and it might send a shiver down your spine.

Appropriately titled Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire, the latest installment in the beloved Ghostbusters franchise reunites new and returning characters to take on a challenge closer to home. This time, they return to where it all began: New York City.

Here’s a synopsis per the film’s official site

“In Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire, the Spengler family returns to where it all started – the iconic New York City firehouse – to team up with the original Ghostbusters, who’ve developed a top-secret research lab to take busting ghosts to the next level. But when the discovery of an ancient artifact unleashes an evil force, Ghostbusters, new and old, must join forces to protect their home and save the world from a second Ice Age.”

The teaser features Patton Oswalt‘s character introducing our heroes to a new, more formidable (and icy) threat. In the blink of an eye, we see an unseasonably hot summer transform into the coldest of winters. Honestly, it’s my worst nightmare.

Jason Reitman returns to pen the script alongside Gil Kenan, who is now at the helm. It stars Paul Rudd, Carrie Coon, Finn Wolfhard, Mckenna Grace, Kumail Nanjiani, Patton Oswalt, Celeste O’Connor, Logan Kim, Dan Aykroyd, Ernie Hudson, Annie Potts and Bill Murray

I might be in the minority, but I adored Afterlife. It’s a beautiful, heartstring-tugging sendoff for the late Harold Ramis. Additionally, it establishes and fleshes out new characters and a thrilling narrative while incorporating the original cast. And it doesn’t center the older characters, which is a tough line to walk when you want to craft a flick that appeals to multiple generations.

Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire will freeze its way into theaters on March 29, 2024. Check out the teaser trailer below.
