The Crossover has begun.  Watch the trailer below.  Let’s catch up one last time on our favorite Arrowverse superheroes before they go into battle.

Black Lightning (S03 E07),  “The Book of Resistance, Chapter Two: Henderson’s Opus” and (S03 E08) “The Book of Resistance, Chapter Three: The Battle of Franklin Terrace”

Lynn (Christine Adams) and Gambi (James Remar) found out that Khalil (Jordan Calloway) is alive, but has amnesia.  They don’t tell Jefferson (Cress Williams) or the girls.  Tobias (Marvin Jones III) tries to make a deal with Lynn to escape the ASA.

Jennifer (China Anne McClain) helps new friend Brandon (Jahking Guillory) find Dr. Jace (Jennifer Riker).  Dr. Jace experimented on Brandon’s mother when she was pregnant, so Brandon was born with his powers. They also find out that Brandon can calm Jennifer’s lightning.

Anessa/Blackbird (Nafessa Williams) and Henderson (Damon Gupton) continue their efforts to help the metas of the city escape to safety. The ASA try to take over the Franklin Terrace apartments.  One of Henderson and Jefferson’s teachers lives there.  The threat is enough for Black Lightning to finally join the resistance.  That also put Lynn in danger.  She barely escapes the ASA laboratory, but leaves behind the cure.

NEXT TIME ON BLACK LIGHTNING, “THE BOOK OF RESISTANCE: CHAPTER FOUR: THIRD STONE FROM THE SUN

If you were wondering how Black Lightning ends up in the Arrowverse  Crisis, just watch the trailer for the next episode below.  The next episode, airs Monday, December 9 after part 2 of the Crisis on Infinite Earths.  Here’s the synopsis:

The Pierce family fears for Jennifer’s life.

Arrow (S08 E06), “Reset” and (S08 E07) “Purgatory

In “Reset”, Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) and Laurel Lance (Katie Cassidy Rodgers) ended up in a time loop where they had to save Quinten Lance’s (Paul Blackthorne) life. The Monitor Mar Novu (LaMonica Garrett) gave Laurel the chance to say goodbye to her father.  And he was trying to teach Oliver that he can’t change his fate.

In “Purgatory”, the team landed on Lian Yu. The Monitor sent them there to build a weapon for the Crisis.  Dinah (Juliana Harkavy) crash lands the team to join Oliver and the kids. Roy (Colton Haynes) is pinned down by a heavy piece of the plane. When they try to rescue him, they encounter some dangerous men on the island.  The quickest way to save Roy and get away is to cut off Roy’s arm.

Wiliam (Ben Lewis) builds the weapon, the team runs into some more trouble. Edward Fyers (Sebastian Dunn) and Deathstroke show up.  Fortunately, Yao Fe (Byron Mann) also appears to help Oliver.  But its the mysterious weapon, an orb that works on the ghosts.

When the orb is complete, William discovers it was made for Lyla, not Oliver. When Lyla touches the orb, the ghosts disappear and a breach opens. Lyla walks through, obviously changed by the orb she is holding. Diggle (David Ramsey) is concerned but knows she is doing exactly what she is meant to do.

Throughout this episode, Oliver knows it time to say goodbye to those he loves. He has a touching moment with William, but avoids the moment with Mia (Katherine McNamara) until the end.  When they finally say their goodbyes, Lyla reappears as Harbinger. The Crisis begins. The Arrowverse will never be the same.

Arrow returns in January with Part 4 of Crisis on Infinite Earths.

DC’S Legends of Tomorrow

If you’ve been keeping up with the trailers and news about the Crisis, you know the Legends will be fighting along side the rest of the Arrowverse in this crossover.

DC’s Legends of Tomorrow returns in January with the Crisis on Infinite Earths Finale.

Supergirl (S05 E08) “The Wrath of Rama Khan”

Alex (Chyler Leigh) and Brainiac-5 (Jesse Rath) rescued Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) from the Fortress of Solitude.  And despite Lena’s (Katie McGrath) betrayal, Supergirl was determined to save her.  Alex in the other hand was ready to do whatever it takes to stop her, even it that means blowing up Lena.

Malefic’s (Phil LaMarr) change of heart gave the team an advantage over Lena.  Lena used Malefic’s Q waves in her mission to control the minds of everyone on the planet, Malefic reversed her signal and Lenas plan failed.  Eve/Hope (Andrea Brooks) took the fall for everything so Lena could continue her work.  Malefic left National City to return to Mars.  J’onn (David Harewood) set up a meeting with the Green Martian resistance.  So Farewell for now Malefic.

As if Supergirl didn’t already have her hands full with Lena, she also had to deal with Rama Khan (Mitch Pileggi).  He wanted to prove that he still had some control on Earth. He recruited…more like forced Andrea Rojas (Julie Gonzalo) to cause a catastrophic event.  Andrea turned on Rama Khan and helped Supergirl and J’onn defeat the so called god.  Leviathan gave his authority to Gamemnae (Cara Buono). Something tells me this conflict is far from over.

At the end of the episode, it was revealed that Lex Luthor (Jon Cryer) is in fact alive.  The Monitor said the war would need a mind like his. No problem right! Lex believes he was always a hero.  He’s more worried about his sister.

NEXT TIME ON SUPERGIRL, CRISIS ON INFINITE EARTHS, PART 1

The Monitor sends Harbinger (guest star Audrey Marie Anderson) to gather the worlds’ greatest heroes – Supergirl, The Flash (guest star Grant Gustin), Green Arrow, Batwoman (guest star Ruby Rose), White Canary (guest star Caity Lotz), The Atom (guest star Brandon Routh) and Superman (guest star Tyler Hoechlin) – in preparation for the impending Crisis.  With their worlds in imminent danger, the superheroes suit up for battle while J’onn and Alex recruit Lena to help them find a way to save the people of Earth-38.

Batwoman (S01 E08) “A Mad Tea Party”

Alice (Rachel Skarsten) finally convinced Kate that she is not longer Beth, her sister.  Unfortunately, Catherine Hamilton Kane (Elizabeth Anweis) had to die to do so.  Alice crashed the Gotham Humanitarian Award ceremony, honoring Catherine for her work in Gotham.  Catherine was forced to tell the Gotham Elite that she and husband Jacob Kane (Dougray Scott) are the real villains of the city.

Alice also poisoned Catherine’s champagne glass, which Mary (Nicole Kang) took a drink from.  When Alice confronted the mother-daugher duo, she forced an apology from Catherine.  But she only had enough of the antecdote for one person. Catherine made Mary take it as she passed away. And now Jacob has been arrested for his dasterly deeds.

This Arrowverse story will continue after the Crisis.

NEXT TIME ON BATWOMAN, CRISIS ON INFINITE EARTHS, PART 2

The group uses Ray’s invention to track new recruits to help save the universe. The Monitor sends Iris (guest star Candice Patton), Earth 38’s Clark Kent and Lois (guest star Elizabeth Tulloch) in search of a mysterious Kryptonian, while Kate and Kara head out to find Bruce Wayne (guest star Kevin Conroy). In addition, Mia challenges Sara, Rory (guest star Dominic Purcell) discovers a hidden talent, and Lex Luthor returns.

The Flash Preview

In the last episode of The Flash, Nash Wells (Tom Cavanagh) found the door to what he believed to be The Monitor’s hideout.  A strange voice addressed him and promised to give Nash everything he desires.  At first Nash only wanted to kill the Monitor. But then a light wave saved Nash from being attacked by Bloodwork’s (Sendhil Ramamurthy)  zombies.  Nash believed The Monitor saved him.  The door opened for Nash and consumed him. Who or what is behind that door?

NEXT TIME ON THE FLASH, CRISIS ON INFINITE EARTHS, PART 3

Pariah (Tom Cavanagh) enlists Black Lightning (guest star Cress Williams) to help stop the Anti-Monitor (guest star LaMonica Garrett) after Flash-90 (guest star John Wesley Shipp) shares what he learned from his battle in ‘Elseworlds.’  With the help of Black Lightning, Barry, Cisco (Carlos Valdes) and Killer Frost (Danielle Panabaker) come up with a plan that could save them all. Meanwhile, Iris has a heart-to-heart with Ryan Choi (guest star Osric Chau), while Oliver and Diggle return to an old familiar stomping ground.
