Batwoman (S01 E04) “Who Are You?”
Now that Kate (Ruby Rose) has embraced the Bat, Batwoman is on call full time. And that is cutting into Kate’s personal time. Last week, Kate met a cute girl named Reagan (Brianne Howey). They have spent a lot of time together and Kate really likes her, but there’s just no room for an intimate relationship in her life right now. And I’m pretty sure she’s not over Sophie (Meagan Tandy), married or not.
Kate’s attention was on a new villain named Magpie. She probably wouldn’t have bothered with this one, except that Magpie stole her Aunt Martha’s pearl necklace. Kate and Luke (Camrus Johnson) discovered that Magpie was stealing jewelry, then making replicas with a 3D printer and replacing the jewels. That’s kind of smart. Magpie almost bests Batwoman in a fight, sending her over the edge of a building. Alice (Rachel Skarsten) comes along and saves her sister, giving her the opportunity to cut Magpie’s getaway zip line. The bird falls right into the hands of the Crows.
Batwoman found Alice’s boyfriend badly beaten and took him to get medical attention from Mary (Nicole Kang). While under the influence of pain medication, the boy toy tells Mary that Alice has big plans for someone named Mouse.
Alice visits Catherine (Elizabeth Anweis) and asks for a high tech weapon from Hamilton’s inventory. If Alice doesn’t get the weapon, she will tell Jacob (Dougray Scott) that Catherine and her people gave him animal bones and said it was Beth, so Jacob would let go. Catherine tells Jacob herself and he tells her to leave.
While Batwoman is saving Gotham, Kate needs a decoy story to keep her identity secret. She starts a real estate firm to provide housing for Gotham’s less fortunate.
Next time on Batwoman, “Mine is a Long and Sad Tale”
Alice takes Kate down the sad, winding road of her life in the days after the accident; Mary has an argument with Catherine that sends her looking for Kate at Wayne Tower, but she becomes unwelcome company for Luke.

Supergirl (S05 E04) “In Plain Sight”
We knew he was leaving, but I didn’t think it would happen so soon! James (Mehcad Brooks) and Kelly (Azie Tesfai) took a quick vacation back to their hometown, Calvintown. While there, James uncovers corruption in the town because a new prison. It has left some kids orphaned because their parents are in prison. James takes it upon himself to buy the Calvintown newspaper to expose the overcrowding and over sentencing in the prison. So long James. Hope to see you again soon.
Team Supergirl finds Malefic (Phil LaMarr), but Malefic has his mind control powers back and makes Alex (Chyler Leigh) his first victim. It doesn’t take long for Kara (Melissa Benoist) and J’onn (David Harewood) to figure it out.
J’onn meets Malefic and apologizes profusely to his brother for what happened. It’s too late for Malefic and he goes full beast mode on Team Supergirl. J’onn is able to disconnect Alex from Malefic, but Malefic strapped a bomb to Alex’s torso. Supergirl swoops in, takes the bomb and save the day. Malefic tries to get away, but Kelly shows up and tells the team where to find him. J’onn has no choice but to blast Malefic with a gun that sends him back to the Phantom Zone.
Kara started looking into William Day’s (Staz Nair) sketchy behavior. She a crazy wall that connects Andrea Rojas (Julie Gonzalo) to a bunch of dead people. William comes clean. He’s undercover for the Times to implicate Andrea in a big conspiracy. He apologizes for being such a jerk, but he needs her to stay out of this one for her own safety. That confirms that William does not know Kara’s secret identity.
Brainy (Jesse Rath) apologized to Nia (Nicole Maines) for be excessive with a single flower. He said he’s ready to work on himself for her and Nia is ready to help him.
Malefic didn’t go to the Phantom Zone. He ended up in Lena Luthor’s (Katie McGrath) lab. She tells him that she is not his enemy. She thinks they can help each other. Uh oh!
Next time on Supergirl, “Dangerous Liaisons”
On the eve of the worldwide launch of Andrea Roja’s VR contact lenses, Kara and William team up on an investigation that exposes a terrorist plot. Kelly and Alex celebrate an anniversary, but Alex’s safety is in jeopardy.

Black Lightning (S03 E04) “The Book of Occupation: Chapter Four: Lynn’s Ouroboros”
Jefferson Pierce (Cress Williams) was released last week from the ASA and entered a world he no longer recognizes. Jennifer (China Anne McClain) thinks the ASA occupation is a good thing, courtesy of Agent Odell (Bill Duke).
Jennifer isn’t the only one Odell is manipulating. He threatens to experiment on Jennifer and Anissa (Nafessa Williams) if Jefferson doesn’t comply. Jefferson gets extra protective over his girls that leads to a disagreement between him and Anissa. They eventually make up, but only because the ASA is out of control.
The ASA have been taking people left and right, adults and children, accusing them of being metas. They’ve also declared martial law, taking away all of Bill Henderson’s (Damon Gupton) authority. So when Black Lightning and Blackbird come through the police station to free some of the ‘prisoners’ Henderson tells his people to hide so they just walk through.
Odell isn’t finished. He has a secret weapon in Painkiller (Jordan Calloway). The One Hundred have been hijacking ASA trucks. Painkiller’s assignment was to find them and stop them. He gets all of the easy assignments.
And then there’s Lynn (Christine Adams). She is determined to find a cure for the virus that is infecting the locked up metas. Somehow, some way, Odell has convinced her that if she uses Green Light to enhance her mind, she will find a solution. She finds that cure, but now she’s addicted to Green Light.
Next time on Black Lightning, “The Book of Occupation: Chapter Five”
Jefferson struggles with the effects on his family, leading to a decision with tragic consequences; Anissa’s identity is threatened; Odell takes an important step toward winning over Jennifer.

Arrow (S08E03) “Leap of Faith”
Last week Tatsu (Rila Fukushima) told Oliver (Stephen Amell) to look into The Monitor Mar Novu (LaMonica Garrett) before going on another mission. So Oliver went to the League of Shadows for answers. He reunites with his little sister Thea (Willa Holland) and tells her all about Mar Novu, the Crisis and his destiny with death. Thea takes it really well and agrees to help him. They need someone who is active in the League to get them to the information they are looking for. Oliver knows someone who owes him a favor…Talia Al Ghul (Lexa Doig).
Talia tells Oliver there may be information in the journal of Al- Faith, the first Ra’s Al Ghul. While looking for the journal, the trio encounters Thanatos Guild. The Guild wants Al-Faith’s sword to gain control over the League. Talia wants the sword too for that same reason.
Thea also has a claim to the sword as the heir to the Demon. She challenges Talia for the sword and wins. Instead of continuing the streak of killing, Thea asks Talia to help her rebrand the League of Shadows into the League of Heroes.
As for Mar Novu, they find a sketch of someone who looks like The Monitor and the text says he is the god who will ‘bring forth the end of times.’ That makes Oliver really question what The Monitor is up to in the Arrowverse.
Diggle (David Ramsey) joins Lyla (Audrey Marie Anderson) on a mission to save a young mother and her son Connor. This shows how Connor met the Diggles. Diggle is deeply affected by what happened on Earth-2. Lyla tries to tell him that she is working with Mar Novu, but holds back.
Team Arrow 2.0 discover that J.J. Diggle (Charlie Barnett) aka Deathstroke leader, is targeting the members of the Star City unification movement to kill it. Mia (Katherine McNamara) is determined to stop him. She leads an attack on the Deathstroke stronghold leading to J. J. killing Zoe (Andrea Sixtos). Connor (Joseph David-Jones) goes after J. J. to kill him for killing Zoe when a bright white light overcomes him, Mia, and William (Ben Lewis).
At the same time Oliver sees a bright light that transports him to his bunker in 2019…before Adrian Chase blew it up. He’s happy to see Diggle, Rene (Rick Gonzalez), and Dinah (Juliana Harkavy) and surprised that he brought passengers with him. With Connor beside them, Mia and William are shocked to be looking at their father for the first time in a long time.
Next time on Arrow “Present Tense”
When a mysterious new Deathstroke appears in Star City, Oliver and Team Arrow insist on taking down this villain themselves. Meanwhile, reeling from the loss of one of their own, the future Team Arrow figures out a new way to try and stop J. J.
