Arrow Season Premiere (S08E01) “Starling City”
Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) returns to the Arrowverse and is reliving some of his past. He appears on Lian Yu and is quickly rescued and sent home. There he discovers his mother Moira (Susanna Thompson) married Malcolm Merlyn (John Barrowman). Tommy Merlyn (Colin Donnell) is alive and living with his parents. And Thea (Willa Holland) was so distraught about Oliver’s disappearance, she overdosed on Vertigo.
No, he didn’t create a new timeline. The Monitor (LaMonica Garrett) sent Oliver to Starling City on Earth-2 to recover a dwarf star. Luckily he has John Diggle (David Ramsey) by his side. This is his Diggle from Earth-1. He followed Oliver because he won’t accept Oliver’s fate. Diggle wants to do everything he can to prevent Oliver’s death and help him stop the Crisis.
Oliver runs into the Hood and Black Siren. Laurel Lance (Katie Cassidy Rodgers) took what she learned from Earth-1 and created her own Team Arrow…I guess that would be Team Canary. And Adrian Chase (Josh Segarra) the Hood! They’ve been trying to capture the Dark Archer for some time. Oliver joins the fight because the Dark Archer has the dwarf star.
Oliver discovers that Tommy is the Dark Archer. (It’s Malcolm on Earth-1) Tommy working with Dinah Drake (Juliana Harkavy) and Rene Ramirez (Rick Gonzalez) to use the dwarf star to destroy the Glades. Destroying the Glades is Tommy’s way of getting justice for Thea. Oliver is able to talk Tommy out of his revenge scheme and Tommy is arrested.
While Tommy, Dinah and Rene are processed, an antimatter wave cruises through Starling City and erases everything and everyone. Oliver, Diggle and Laurel escape through a breach. Earth-2 is gone. The first known casualty in the Arrowverse.
In the flash forward story, the Arrow kids come face to face with the Deathstroke gang, led by John Diggle Jr (Charlie Barnett).
Next time on Arrow, “Welcome to Hong Kong”
Oliver, John, Laurel, and Tatsu (guest star Rila Fukushima) seek out an important person within The Monitor’s plan. Connor (Joseph David Jones) has a heart to heart with his brother.

Batwoman (S01 E02) “The Rabbit Hole”
Kate (Ruby Rose) took it upon herself to find out if Alice (Rachel Skarsten) is really her sister Beth. Alice gave Kate a sample of her blood to prove she was telling the truth. Jacob Kane (Dougray Scott) refuses to believe it. He is determined to capture Alice and bring her to justice.
Alice hasn’t been very well behaved. In fact, she is straight up murdering people. And she has people watching her back. Jacob had Alice in custody until her people blew up the police convoy. Unfortunately Alice fell into the Gotham river, but Batwoman was there to save her. The only thing that Kate discovered is that even if it is Beth, this woman is no longer her sister.
Luke Fox (Camrus Johnson) jumped in on the action to keep Kate safe. He is officially her tech and overwatch guy. Alice sent one of her guys to kill Mary (Nicole Kang) because Kate is her sister, not Mary’s. And Catherine Hamilton-Kane (Elizabeth Anweis) is up to something. Kate had Alice’s knife with her blood on it. Catherine sent people to recover it, leading Kate to think it was Alice. What is she up to? What does she know about Alice?
Next time on Batwoman, “Down, Down, Down”
As the city waits impatiently for another visit from who they think is Batman, Alice continues to taunt Kate with a secret but also sets her sights on Jacob and Catherine. Kate is visited by Tommy Elliot (guest star Gabriel Mann), a childhood friend of her cousin who has finally realized his lifelong dream of being wealthier than Bruce Wayne and throws a party so all of Gotham can celebrate his success. Mary gets an unexpected new bestie when Sophie (Meagan Tandy) is assigned to protect her. Luke and Kate work together to uncover who may have taken a valuable weapon from Batman’s arsenal. And as Batwoman faces a new enemy, Kate realizes she must either walk away from her new role or fully embrace the mantle as Gotham’s new hope.

Supergirl (S05 E02) “Stranger Beside Me”
Kara (Melissa Benoist) has her hands full with CatCo and a mysterious martian. First, Andrea Rojas (Julie Gonzalo) and William Day (Staz Nair)are making life difficult at work. Andrea reassigned her to fashion, then to editing. And William is following her around. What a weirdo! But Kara is not a quitter!
Speaking of jumping ship, James (Mehcad Brooks) has some major offers to consider…media director for the Smithsonian or Senator. He’s weighing his options now…it won’t be long before he leaves National City though.
Kelly (Azie Tesfai) uses Q-waves to help J’onn (David Harewood) remember his brother, Malefic (Phil LaMarr). Having a brother isn’t the only memory missing. Someone erased part of his memories. We still don’t know why The Monitor released him into the Arrowverse.
Brainiac (Jesse Rath) showers Nia (Nicole Maines) with so many gifts, based on the things she says she loves. But, it’s getting out of hand. If she likes pancakes, he makes a million pancakes for her. Nia doesn’t really know how to express her frustration.
The team tracks down Malefic, who takes the form of Kelly, then Alex (Chyler Leigh) to get more information about J’onn’s friends. He gets away, but left behind a literal fly on the wall to keep tabs on the group.
Lena (Katie McGrath) kidnapped Eve Tessmacher (Andrea Brooks) last week. At first she only wanted an apology and to test Eve’s loyalty. Lena downloaded Hope’s programming into Eve’s body so Hope and Eve could better serve her. It’s the next step in her artificial intelligence research. Lena is getting a bit scary for the Arrowverse.
Next time on Supergirl, “Blurred Lines”
Kara attempts to mend her relationship with Lena. J’onn J’onzz takes a deep dive into his memories while Kelly tries to help an old friend.

Lynne on the other hand is helping a young girl who is deteriorating. Lynne refuses to let any of the Green Light kids die on her watch.
Anissa (Nafessa Williams) is fine and leads a group of refugees to a farm. The farm owners are uncomfortable with so many people there. Anissa uses force to make the farm owners cooperate with her.
Jennifer (China Anne McClain) is trying to go about her life, business as usual. She sees some boys fighting and tries to stop them, saying they need to remain civilized. The boys turn on her and she shows them how girls fight back…in front of the whole school! That was awesome!
Gambi (James Remar) and Henderson (Damon Gupton) infiltrate the ASA to find tech that will help get Anissa back to town. The Markovians arrive on Wolfsbane Mountain and are quickly alerted to meta activity. And Khalil, now Painkiller (Jordan Calloway) is resurrected and sent on his first assassination mission: kill his own mother. Agent Odell (Bill Duke) is ruthless! Speaking of ruthless, La La emerges as the new leader of The 100.
