Get the Chills with New Trailer for THE LODGE

Grab a blanket and bundle up because a new trailer for NEON’s The Lodge has arrived. The Veronika Franz and Severin Fiala directed film follows Grace (Riley Keough) trying to win over her soon-to-be step kids Mia (Lia McHugh) and Aidan (Jaeden Lieberher) during Christmas vacation.

Just when the tension between Grace and the kids seem to thaw, Grace’s fiance Richard (Richard Armitage) is suddenly called away for work and a storm leaves the remaining trio snowed in their cabin. If that wasn’t creepy enough, some sketchy stuff starts happening that might have something to do with Grace’s mysterious past. Spoiler alert: it totally does.

This new trailer seems to hint that this will be more of a slow burn, psychological thriller rather than a paranormal situation. Here we see the children digging into Grace’s strange past. Not only was she part of a religious cult, it turns out this cult committed a mass suicide which left Grace as the only survivor.

I can’t imagine what that could do to someone’s psyche. I have a feeling we’ll find out this February. Check out the new trailer below!

The Lodge: A soon-to-be stepmom is snowed in with her fiancé’s two children at a remote holiday village. Just as relations begin to thaw between the trio, some strange and frightening events take place.
