Over at the WB, more and more things are starting to fall into place for their DC Comics Extended Universe, or DCEU. Out of The Hollywood Reporter today we have news that Seth Grahame-Smith is “in negotiations to direct and write The Flash. The film will be based on a treatment from Phil Lord and Christopher Miller, the two geniuses behind The Lego Movie.

The Flash is slated to hit theaters March 3, 2018, starring Ezra Miller as Barry Allen as the titular speedster, though we’ll most likely meet him in the upcoming Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice.

But where have you heard the Grahame-Smith name before? He’s the author behind the genre mash-ups, Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter and Pride and Prejudice and Zombies. This film would mark his directorial debut.
