The Real Deal:
Ellie McGuinness is the real deal. She may struggle in some aspects of life, like adulting, but she is kickass in the ones that matter. Like solving supernatural mysteries and taking on demons, and crushing monsters. If you looked up the definition of a strong, kickass woman, Ellie’s picture would be right there. But she is just more than her ability to take down hordes of undead skeletons and crack monster skulls together. Ellie is compassionate and thinks of others way before she thinks of herself. She’s one of those solid friends you would call if you ever needed something.
Why She Matters:

Third Shift Society WEBTOON Original Series.
So, why does Ellie McGuinness matter? She is a badass, supernatural sleuth who can take on the biggest and badest monsters. But she is also compassionate and cares very much for her friends and doing the right thing. But one of the most important things to learn from Ellie is that it’s okay not to be good at things. Ellie’s struggles aren’t to show off that she’s terrible at adulting or clumsy but that she’s human. And like the rest of us, when she finds something that she is good at, her whole life changes. It’s a great reminder to keep positive when struggling to find your path.
So, be like Ellie. Be strong and fierce in the face of danger, have compassion for the people around you and remember that it’s okay to fail at things on the path of life.
