OUR PANEL:

Icon-O-Clash:The Finale Femme-Moderated by Jenna Busch. Panelists: Joseph Scrimshaw, Claudia Dolph, Audrey Kearns, Len Wein, Jenny Flack, Matt Key and Alan Kistler! “Ripley vs. Buffy. Xena vs. Starbuck. Sarah Conner vs. Wonder Woman. Who would win? Who SHOULD win? You tell us! The Elite Eight women of the ultimate Icon-O-Clash Tournament, hosted by the Legion of Leia and Geek Girl Authority, will be revealed following your votes and lots (and LOTS) of strenuous, lively debate in this exciting, fan-centric panel! Your votes will determine the Final Four, the Top Two, and then the tournament champion, The Final Femme, will be revealed by the end of the panel. 2pm RM 301B

Sunday, November 2 at 2 pm: Feminism: The New F-Word — Dealing With Feminism in the Geek Community — Room 306 ABModerated by Audrey Kearns. Panelists: Devin Faraci, Sarah Marino, Amanda Schuckman, Deric Hughes, Claudia Dolph and Jenna Busch. “If Emma Watson can stand up and talk about feminism to no less than the UN, then we can certainly handle dealing with the new ‘F-word’ in the geek community! Join Geek Girl Authority, the Legion of Leia and a group of talented, esteemed women and men in our community for a positive and productive conversation about issues such as inclusion, bullying & safety, and how we keep loving what we love as geeks, in a world where ‘feminism’ can be a dirty, dirty word.”
