Gears of War 4 doesn’t release for another few weeks but that didn’t stop Microsoft from releasing the launch trailer. Like the Tomorrow trailer, and all other Gears of War trailers, this one may leave you looking for the bastard cutting that onion. Or it could leave you pumped and cursing wishing the release date would get here faster.
The premise is simple, 25 years after the events in Gears of War 3, our surviving heroes have settled down thinking they are finally safe. Unfortunately a new terror arrises from the center of the planet, again, and the new generation now has to fight the good fight. Planet Sera really has bad luck.
That’s the good news, the bad news is it looks like Marcus may actually die in this game.
A new saga begins for one of the most acclaimed video game franchises in history. After narrowly escaping an attack on their village, JD Fenix and his friends, Kait and Del, must rescue the ones they love and discover the source of a monstrous new enemy.
Gears of War 4 launches on Windows 10 and Xbox One exclusively on October 11, 2016.
