Stormind Games and Modus Games dropped a brand new trailer for Remothered: Broken Porcelain during Gamescom 2020. This survival horror is the second in the series following Remothered: Tormented Fathers and continues Rosemary’s quest to uncover the mystery behind Celeste’s disappearance. Players will follow Jennifer’s journey, and the new trailer does a great job setting up just how terrifying this game will be.
The trailer focuses heavily on introducing and setting up the relationship between Jen and Linn. The beginning takes on a more charming tone as the two girls meet and become acquainted. It even looks as they are possibly developing a romantic relationship. Then, as Jen jokingly reminds Linn that this place is truly bad, the trailer shifts to a darker tone. It raises questions quite a few questions. What is the mystery behind the manor, as well as how does it connect to Celeste?

Stormind Games promises that Remothered: Broken Porcelain will be far scarier than its predecessor. And going off how terrified I was of the first game, this is going to be great. The trailer reminds me of just how well they are able to balance the feeling of calm and terror. Even as it comes to an end, we are taken back to the calmer tone that instantly unsettles you. It is everything I want in a horror game and I can’t wait to get my hands on it.
Remothered: Broken Porcelain is set to release on October 20, 2020 for PC through Steam, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch. If you haven’t gotten a chance to check out Remothered: Tormented Fathers, I highly suggest adding it to your must play list before October. You can be sure to thank me later!
