On Tuesday, June 27, 2023, the full trailer for the Futurama season 11 revival at Hulu was released. The trailer follows up on some of the scenes we glimpsed in the previously released teaser. It also confirms the return of several fan-favorite characters. Plus, Futurama fans wondering about the continuation of the on-again, off-again romance between PlanEx delivery boy Philip J. Fry (Billy West) and pilot Turanga Leela (Katey Sagal) can lay their concerns to rest. Based on multiple lines in the fresh trailer, it looks to be confirmed that “Freela” is back, baby.
Futurama Season 11
The new Futurama season 11 trailer carries a full complement of information about the upcoming Hulu revival. For one thing, dialogue from Professor Hubert Farnsworth (West) suggests the show’s decade-long absence may be explained by way of a massively disruptive temporal event.

In addition, the trailer reveals several events which have transpired since the show left the air but which will now be subjected to parody in Futurama season 11. These include the COVID-19 pandemic, the rise of Amazon (naturally embodied by Mom’s Friendly Robot Company), and the advent of “cryptocurrency.”
However, the trailer also reveals several returning characters from the show’s preceding ten seasons. These include the parasites hosted by Fry’s gut in “Parasites Lost,” invading Omicronian rulers NdNd (Tress MacNeille) and Lrrr (Maurice LaMarche), Roberto the malfunctioning robot (David Herman) and the Borax Kid (LaMarche).

Furthermore, the trailer gives us another opportunity to see more of the returning cast we love. Along with Bender Bending Rodriguez (John DiMaggio), that includes Hermes Conrad (Phil LaMarr), Amy Wong (Lauren Tom) and Lord Nibbler (Frank Welker).
