Right before Thanksgiving week, the folks at Blizzard have given everyone a gift; another free weekend of Overwatch. Well, more like four days over Overwatch. If you’ve been wondering what all the fuss is about when it comes to this team based shooter, now is your chance to find out. All for the low, low cost of free. Seriously, what do you have to lose?
If you aren’t normally into team based shooters, don’t worry, neither was I. However, I am into good world building, story, and fun games and since this one has all of those things, I’m hopelessly addicted.
For the free weekend you won’t get a watered down version of the game, it will be the entire game of 22 heroes, 13 maps, and a variety of modes including Quick Play, Custom Games, and the Brawl. In addition to all of that, your account will level up and earn those addicting Loot Boxes full of skins, emotes, sprays, and other cosmetic goodies. If you decide to purchase a copy of Overwatch after or during the weekend, all of your progress will transfer over on the platform you played during the free weekend.
The Overwatch free weekend will run from November 18–21. PlayStation 4 owners with a PlayStation Plus membership, Xbox One owners with an Xbox Live Gold membership, and Windows PC users with a Battle.net account will be able to download and play Overwatch during this period. No special keys or sign-up codes needed!
